Heavy Duty Cage Wheel Spacer
Co-Packers PUSH FIT, Australian made, Heavy Duty Pile Cage Wheels are a perfect alternative to Lightweight FastWheels or Circular Spacers.
The HEAVY DUTY WHEELS can be attached as the Pile Cage is lowered into the ground. Co-Packers can also provide Custom Made Pile Cage Spacers for additional cover or narrow spaced spirals.
The CFRP version of the Heavy Duty Pile Cage Spacer (65mm to 110mm) is now registered as an approved product for Queensland Government Department of Transport and Main Roads specification for MRTS63 and MRTS70. Contact us for more information.
Features
Australian Standard and QLD TMR Compliant
Currently all sizes (except 25 and 40mm) comply with AS/NZS 2425:2015 for Bar Chairs.
As the wheels are a ‘Spacer’ and not a load bearing chair the standards-approved Pile Cage Wheels need only meet the 60kg rating.
The Heavy Duty Range is available in a Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer variety (CFRP) to meet the additional requirements Qld Transport’s MRTS63 and MRTS70. The Polymer blend is Polyolefin based with Carbon additives to provide improved Chloride Permeability and Flame Resistance results.
The CFRP product achieved a Rapid Chrloride Penetration Test score of 465 coulombs using a standard cure 58 day sample.

Push-Fit Mechanisms
The Push Fit Mechanism allows Pile Cage Spacer Wheels to be installed without the need of any tools. This mechanism, initially designed by Co-Packers, is the first step in ensuring the Spacer Wheel remains in place.
Security Clip
The Security clip is especially suited in applications where Pile Cage Wheels are to be fitted to smaller diameter rebar. The Security Clips simply push into place ensuring the reinforcing bar is trapped in place.
